What they say: Monthly clubnight on the first Saturday of every month at Retro Bar on Sackville Street. It kicks off at 10pm until 3am and plays a mix of pop-punk, skate-punk, gruff, hardcore and indie-rock. The bar has offers including 2 bottles of Becks for £3, and a house double with mixer for £2.30.

What we say: They play a really good mix of old school punk like The Descendants alongside melodic hardcore (think Jawbreaker) and singalong pop punk like Weezer but are great at getting most requests played. The cheap doubles are deadly and with danceable punk blasting out and a friendly atmosphere, you’ll be sure to leave with a few new friends. One of our favourite clubnights in Manchester.
