A reel costs about £40 and last about 40 minutes. He might charge you for one of these if he hasn't got one hanging around.
He's also quite busy and might not have the time. But go, go, go and have a look if you want your band recorded. He's good.

Ah, is that Karl from A Middle Sex? I bumped into him yonks ago and he'd just started buying all analogue stuff and was talking about how he just starting to tinker around with it at the time. If so, judging by those NASDAQ recordings he's sussed it all out brilliantly!
