Yeah, I imagine they get that a lot. But they're a decent outfit and deserve to be judged on their own merits.

to be fair its a big connection. i remain unconvinced from their recorded stuff! aslong as they arent bad as Random Grandad (if you ever saw them)! There will be room in ska for a capdown tribute act though if they dont keep reforming every year!

This was an absolutely amazing gig. All four bands were brilliant!

China Shop Bull tore my face off (in a good way).

Good turn-out and things looking up for the local scene - the jobs a good un'. Pity it ran late - had a lift arranged for 11.15 - damn you Diggle and that Beatles haircut ha, ha.

Harijan - just a quality outfit assured in what they do - loved it

Anti-Vigilante - unsure - in parts good, in parts not just catching my ear - another viewing needed but plenty of balls in the band which is always good

China Shop Bull - Fuckin' hell - how good are these - an amazing performance that built in intensity so as to be almost insane at the end - take drugs and watch these at yer peril

The Skints - only saw first few songs due to having to piss off and wasn't impressed one bit. The front lasses voice didn't seem to be carrying and the pace was mundane. Again I would need to see a full set and preferably not after the amazing CSB which is a hard act for anyone to follow. Maybe I was expecting too much. The CD I have listened to and reviewed a bit back was a cracker so I suspect my judgement here isn't what it would be in other circumstance - then again...

A good night though and thoroughly enjoyable

Great gig, had to leave after CSB due to work etc.

Harijan were as good as they usually are.

AV were painfully average

CSB are my favourite band at the moment! Bias or no bias.
