So it got mentioned in that thread in General Discussion.

I don't know much about dubstep, some I really don't like, but some is truly great. Especially Mount Kimbie's amazing EP "Maybes". Download it here: http://bolachasgrati...rds.com/?p=4734

Please recommend me some more.

FLY AWAY YOU SWEET LITTLE THING THEY ARE HOT ON YOUR TAIL!

One morning, before the leaves began changing
I caught a piece of summer and poured it into a pitcher;

This I placed in the cellar on a shelf collecting dust .
Autumn, then winter, rose up from the sea, and my
Garden was a garden filled with unbroken snow.

King Tubby is good smoking music.

Just found out Dubstep is totally different to Dub.

Yeah it is wildly different from what I can gather. I listened to King Tubby on my way to work this morning, it was blissful.

Dubstep seems to be a lot grimier (is that a word?) than dub. But Mt Kimbie's EP is beautiful.

I've heard a little bit of The Bug but not enough to form an opinion really.

I really enjoyed the new Starkey LP too, had that on whilst cooking recently and it was a right treat. Shame the food tasted like shit. Maybe best not to try cooking while absolutely wrecked and listening to dubstep.

vex'd, milanese, ital tek.

i dont like skream because i have issues with 808 handclaps used as snares. burial's alright as well. more step than dub though.

silkie's nice but only has one tune i know of so far.

That's why people rip Chorlton so much. It's much easier to be moralistic when you're loading vegan cheese into the back of a Jeep.

Burial's alright, I think some's really good then some is very patchy.

Untrue is good, but after a bit it really starts to grate on me.

I want dubstep that has a big ounce of melody in it too, not just mindwarping sub.

I can't get into Skream that much really to be honest. I love Burial, especially untrue. The Bug are very good and you need to listen to londo zoo if you wanna hear good dubstep. Other than that, the other dubstep I like I don't have a clue what it's called as my friends play it to me and I can never remember the names, they all seem to be acronyms or change every c in the word to a k and every a to a z...
